SweetFLAKES™ 18 DQ45
Formulated for superior palatability to promote intake and rumen development. SweetFLAKES 18 DQ45 is a molasses-coated blend of steam flaked corn and soybeans along with whole oats and a specifically formulated protein pellet. This complete calf starter mix will encourage early consumption and provide unique energy and carbohydrate sources to enhance muscle development, growth, and weight gain.

Feed 3-4 quarts of colostrum immediately after birth (need to provide 100 g of IgG). Feed 2-4 additional quarts within 12 hours of birth and feed 2-4 more quarts at 24 hours of age. If necessary, use an esophageal feeder.
Feed Kent Group milk replacers until 6 weeks of age or when calves have consumed 2 lb of starter per day for 3 consecutive days, whichever comes last (mix and feed according to the directions on milk replacer tags).
Start feeding SweetFLAKES 18 DQ45 when calves are 3 days old. Place a fresh supply before calves each day. Calves should consume at 1 lb per 100 lb of body weight to provide 22.7 mg of decoquinate per 100 lb of body weight. Feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure or when experience indicates it is likely to be a hazard.

Feed Total Stage 18 Starter 75B at the rate of 1 mg/2.2 lb body weight per day to dairy cattle weighing up to 800 lb. Do not feed more than 360 mg/head/day or 9.6 lb of lasalocid.
Rumensin® - improves weight gain and prevents coccidiosis.
Feed Total Stage 18 Starter 60R at the rate of 0.47 - 3.33 lb per 100 lb body weight to provide 0.14 - 1.0 mg monensin per lb body weight per day depending on the severity of challenge up to a to a maximum of 200 mg/head/day of monensin (6.67 lb/head/day).
