  Feed continuously as the sole grain ration to dairy calves after weaning and up to 6 months of age. It is recommended to provide forage as well. The amount fed may vary depending on genetics and management preferences. Feeding amounts may also depend on the type of medication in the feed. Follow recommended feeding directions on the product label.

  Recommended Medication Options

  Rumensin^® - improves weight gain and prevents coccidiosis.

  Feed Total Stage 16 Grower 40R at the rate of 0.7 - 5.0 lb per 100 lb body weight to provide 0.14 - 1.0 mg monensin per lb body weight per day depending on the severity of challenge up to a maximum of 200 mg/head/day of monensin (10.0 lb/head/day).

  Bovatec^® - improves weight gain and prevents coccidiosis.

  Feed Stage 16 Grower 75B at the rate of 1 mg/2.2 lb body weight per day to dairy cattle weighing up to 800 lb. Do not feed more than 360 mg/head/day or 9.6 lb of lasalocid.

  Decoxx^® - prevents coccidiosis

  Feed Total Stage 16 Grower 45DQ at the rate of 1.0 lb per 100 lb body weight to provide 22.7 mg decoquinate per 100 lb body weight. Feed for at least 28 days during periods of coccidiosis exposure or when experience indicates coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.

• Active™ Developer 34 400B

  Active Developer 34 400B is a 34% protein, RUP-based supplement containing 400 grams of Bovatec^® per ton. It is formulated for developing heifers from 400 lb through freshening. Multiple protein sources allow heifers to reach their genetic potential by supplying a more optimum amino acid pattern. Research shows that the addition of Bovatec will increase growth rate an additional 0.17 lb per day over a diet without Bovatec. Optimum vitamin and mineral fortification of active developer enhances proper growth and development of dairy heifers.

  Warning

  A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
