Why Pelleted Feed?

The use of pelleted grain products by horse owners has grown tremendously. The pellet is more digestible than most sweet feeds, attracts fewer flies, does not freeze, and prevents sorting of ingredients (i.e. nutrients). Pellets may also produce a lower glycemic response than sweet feeds, so feeding a pelleted feed product may actually help prevent a horse from getting "hyper" or over-responding to sugar. DYNASTY^® contains a minimal amount of molasses and has approximately 25%-50% less dietary starch and sugars than oats.
